How much will my custom piece cost?

Every style on our site includes a price range listed directly on the product page, in the description. We will not exceed that range, provided there are no significant design changes made after the CAD is approved. Browse each style before you deposit so you can find a range that works for you — no surprises, ever.

What is the design deposit and what does it cover?

The design deposit is $300 and covers the creation of your custom CAD design — a detailed rendering of your piece before anything is produced. Every dollar of your deposit is applied toward your final balance. It is not an extra fee.

When do I pay the rest?

Once you approve your CAD design, we send your final balance invoice. Production begins after that payment is received.

What if I need to make significant design changes after approving my CAD?

Minor tweaks are part of the process and included. If you decide to make significant design changes after CAD approval — such as changing the size, style, stone, or metal entirely — this may affect the final price. We'll always communicate any change in cost before moving forward. No surprises.

The Custom Process

How do I get started?

Browse our styles on the site, choose the one that speaks to you, upload your cattle brand or logo, and complete your design deposit. Not sure which style is right? Email us at orders@devereauxgold.com or schedule a virtual appointment and we'll help you find the right fit before you commit.

Do I have to design something from scratch?

Not at all. We offer a range of pre-designed styles — silhouettes, settings, and shapes we've already crafted — so you're not starting from a blank page. You choose the style you love and we place your brand or logo into it. If you do want something completely original, we offer that too.

What file format should I upload my cattle brand or logo in?

We recommend uploading a high-resolution image — JPG, PNG, or PDF works best. If you only have a photo of your brand taken on your phone, that's okay too. We'll let you know if we need anything clearer once we review it.

How many CAD revisions do I get?

We work with you until the design is right. Minor revisions are included in your deposit. We'll always communicate clearly if a request falls outside the scope of a standard revision.

What if I don't love the CAD design?

We revise it. The whole point of the CAD process is to make sure your piece is exactly what you envisioned before a single piece of metal is touched. We won't move to production until you're fully satisfied with the design.

Styles, Materials & Options

What metals do you work with?

Our predesign styles are in 14k gold (yellow, white or rose) and 0.925 Silver (option for 14K yellow gold plating). We can use 18k gold or platinum upon request. Not sure which is right for you? We're happy to walk you through the differences during a virtual appointment.

What stone options are available?

Most of our styles are designed around diamonds.. Specific stone options — including size, shape, lab vs. natural mined and quality — vary by style and are listed on each product page. Have something specific in mind? Reach out and we'll let you know what's possible.

Do you only do cattle brand jewelry?

No. Cattle brand jewelry is where we started, but we've grown into a full line of western-inspired fine jewelry — including our own original designs — as well as engagement rings, wedding bands, anniversary pieces, family heirlooms, and custom logo jewelry for businesses. If you have a vision, reach out. Chances are we can make it.

Can I do a custom logo or crest that isn't a cattle brand?

Absolutely. We work with ranch logos, family crests, business brands, monograms, and other meaningful marks. The process is the same — upload your design and we'll take it from there.

What if I don't have a brand, but want to create one?

We have an in-house designer that can help you design your own personal brand for a fee of $150. Get started here.

Timeline & Shipping

How long does the whole process take?

From deposit to delivery, most pieces are completed in 4–8 weeks. This includes CAD creation, your approval, production, and shipping. Timeline can vary slightly depending on design complexity and production schedule. We'll give you a specific estimate when your order is placed.

How will I know what's happening with my order?

We keep you updated at every stage — CAD ready, CAD approved, into production, shipped. You won't be left wondering. If you ever have a question, email orders@devereauxgold.com and we'll get back to you promptly.

How is my piece packaged?

Every Devereaux Gold piece is packaged presentation-ready — whether it's for yourself or a gift for someone who earned it.

Warranty & Care

Do your pieces come with a warranty?

Yes. Every Devereaux Gold piece comes with a 1-year warranty. We stand behind every piece we create.

What does the warranty cover?

Manufacturing defects, prong tightening, stone replacement, chain replacement/repair, breaks/bends.

How do I care for my fine jewelry?

Fine jewelry is made to last generations with the right care. We recommend: storing pieces individually in a soft pouch or box, avoiding contact with harsh chemicals (perfumes, chlorine, cleaning products), and having your piece professionally cleaned and inspected once a year. We're happy to advise on care for your specific piece.
